Hire a limo in Adelaide and feel like a bachelorette for a day

The Bachelor Australia is a show you either love or you hate. For those living under a rock, the process begins with a Wedding Car Hire Adelaide limo, a bunch of girls from all over the country including Adelaide, and one man. I first discovered the American version of the show when I was 12. I still remember flicking on the TV one night with my sisters and seeing an attractive man sitting around a spa with a bevy of beautiful girls. From that moment on, I was hooked. Even at such a young age, there was something so intriguing about this “love story” that involved one man and 24 girls. For me, it was such a foreign idea that a group of women would fight over one guy’s attention and in the process all fall in love with the same man.
Flash forward 13 years, and I am still addicted to the show. All of the girls in my family squeal with delight whenever a new series is announced, while my Dad pretends to be annoyed but is seriously excited to endure another season. When Channel Ten announced the launch of an Australian version of the show, I was beyond excited.

The Bachelor Australia is now in its second season, which has showcased more ridiculously romantic dates, helicopter rides, gorgeous gowns and my favorite, cat fight and bitching. This year the lucky guy is Blake Garvey. Blake is Perth auctioneer who is touted as being the “full package”. Just like all of the other bachelor alumni, he is in his early thirties, is tall dark and handsome, has a successful career, but still hasn’t found that right person to settle down with. To make him sound even dreamier he is a sensitive new-aged guy who was raised single-handedly by his mother. He is also keen to get married and have children. After all that, it’s not difficult to understand why competition for his affection is fierce.

When this series started several weeks ago, I couldn’t wait for the first episode. The moment the new group of bachelorhood rolls up in the limo, is the moment I take a deep breath and prepare myself to go on the roller coaster ride with them. For me the limo has always seen a pivotal part of the show. It is the way the girls arrive and is also the way they leave. Some of the luckier girls are also transported to luxury dates in a limo as well. The silver stretch limousines also inject a bit of class that is required for the over the top, outrageous love affair, that is the Bachelor.

It is funny to compare the moods of the girls on the first night, to their last. When the limousine pulls up to the curb of the mansion on night one it is simmering with excitement. The girls peak through the blacked out windows, giggling and brimming with anticipation. However, when the limo arrives to take the unlucky girls away that didn’t manage to capture the bachelor’s heart, it’s a different story. There are tears, running mascara, amidst many broken promises. The absolute worse limo ride to witness is that of the runner up. After being promised for several months that they are the girl of the bachelor’s dreams, in a heartbeat they are dumped and forced to make a quick exit in a limo. This all usually happens in a stunning ball gown in an exotic, often tropical, location. To say the limo ride home is hard is an understatement. However, as I’ve learnt from 13 years of watching the bachelor, there can only be one that is swept of her feet and can enjoy that final limo ride, which goes off into the distance.
